- CUT
- College Ultimate Team, the card-collecting mode where you build a roster and earn rewards.
- CPU
- The computer-controlled opponent. CPU games are solo games, not head-to-head games against another player.
- Solo
- A challenge or game played against the CPU. Solo play does not require beating another player.
- H2H
- Head-to-head play against another person online. Utopia treats H2H rewards as optional unless a Game Plan explicitly says otherwise.
- Lineup
- The active roster you take into games. Building an event lineup means placing eligible players in that roster, not necessarily buying or completing a set.
- Challenge
- A short CPU scenario with listed goals and rewards. Check its stars, bonus goals, difficulty, and expiration before starting.
- Objectives
- Tasks that pay rewards when you meet their listed requirements. Check the deadline and required mode before starting.
- Field Pass
- A progression track that awards items or currency as you earn its XP. Check which objectives award that specific pass's XP.
- Token
- A non-player item used to unlock an event, enter a mode, or complete a set. Read its description before exchanging it.
- Coins
- The main earnable currency used to buy items from the Auction House.
- Points
- The premium store currency normally bought with real money. Paid Points are not the same as earnable Season Points, and NMS players do not need to buy them.
- Season Points
- An earnable progression currency used for Season rewards or offers. Season Points are not the paid store currency called Points.
- Training
- A currency earned by exchanging eligible player items with the game. Some packs and offers cost Training instead of Coins.
- OVR
- Overall rating. An 86+ reward is guaranteed to be rated 86 OVR or higher.
- Binder
- Your collection of player cards, uniforms, playbooks, and other items.
- Auction House
- The player market where auctionable items are bought and sold for Coins.
- Sellable
- An item you can list on the Auction House. Account-bound items cannot be sold.
- BND
- Bound to your account. A BND item cannot be auctioned and may have a reduced Quicksell value.
- Quicksell
- Exchange an item directly with the game for its displayed Coins or Training value instead of listing it on the Auction House.
- Chemistry
- A lineup bonus activated by meeting the game-listed team, conference, scheme, or program requirements. The card or lineup screen shows what counts.
- Eligibility requirement
- A roster rule that controls entry to an event. Guidance must say whether it counts players, displayed stars or values, Chemistry, OVR, or another condition.
- Repeatable event
- An event whose reward cycle can be completed more than once. Check the wins, entry cost, reset rules, and reward for each cycle.
- Pack
- A bundle of random or guaranteed items. Read its full price, odds, and minimum guaranteed rating before buying.
- Bundle
- A store offer containing several packs or items for one price. Judge the guarantees, not the number of pieces.
- Step Up offer
- One offer in a store sequence. A later cheap offer may stay locked until you buy earlier offers, so its real cost includes every required purchase in the chain.
- Set
- A recipe that consumes required items to produce a reward. Price the inputs and check whether the reward can be sold first.
- Exchange
- A set that consumes specified items for a new reward. Submitted items do not return to your Binder.
- Program
- A themed content release that may include players, Objectives, events, Packs, and Sets.
- Skill Point
- An upgrade resource used in the player-upgrade system. Check the player and upgrade screen to see how many are required and what the upgrade unlocks.
- Welcome Pack
- An onboarding pack that can contain starter items or unlock access to a program. Guidance must say where to find it, what it costs, and whether opening it is required.
- Progression ladder
- A sequence of games or milestones that awards better rewards as you advance.
